About this project
The client wanted a fully finished basement that felt like a real living space — not an afterthought. The brief was to fit a bar, laundry area, and living room into one open floor plan without any of them feeling squeezed. The solution was a continuous run of sage green shaker cabinetry along one wall that unifies all three functions: a beverage fridge and bar sink flanked by upper shaker cabinets, floating oak shelves above, and a concealed laundry nook with a countertop work surface. The sage green finish was custom-mixed to complement the warm wood floors and leather furniture without overpowering the space.
